Hit the Slopes at Mont Rigaud

For a fantastic day of skiing, Mont Rigaud is your go-to spot! Dubbed the "ski kindergarten," this center is renowned for its top-notch beginner courses catering to all ages and skill levels. Opt for the Iniski and Inisurf package, which includes a 1.5-hour lesson, equipment rental, and a day pass for a fully equipped day of fun! Plus, with affordable rates, Mont Rigaud is a hit with families. Be sure to book ahead!

Plan a Visit at the Farm

If you have animal lovers at home, here are 3 suggestions that will make them happy for sure!

On March 2, it's Carnaval Day at Ferme La Belle et ses Bêtes! Everyone is invited to visit the animals, including the majestic alpacas, horses and miniature horses, goats, and chickens. For the event, there will be entertainment, a campfire, a dog sled, and live music. And of course, some delicious treats will be available for purchase, including mini donuts, maple products, hot chocolate, and local beers. Get your tickets in advance!

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the farm Les Alpagas de la Petite Côte, open for visits every week-ends throughout winter. It's an ideal family-friendly activity! Engage in feeding and interacting with these adorable creatures. Plus, there are limited spots available for the feeding and fire package. Reservations are essential to meet the alpacas up close!

Closed for the winter, Ferme Quinn reopens on March 6! Families are welcome to have fun in their playground, visit the animals, and enjoy the fresh air in the fields. While the kids play outside, adults can stock up on fresh local products at the farm's shop!

Give Fatbiking a Try!

Fatbiking is gaining popularity, and many parks in the region offer bike rentals for you to try out this winter sport! The weekend of March 1st will be your last chance to rent equipment for the 2025 season at Parc nature Pointe-des-Cascades. Hurry up to reserve your spot! It is also possible to rent a fatbike at Parc-nature Harwood in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

In Les Coteaux, don’t miss Gourmandises d’hiver on March 1st! Gather around the outdoor fire for a cozy winter evening featuring a storyteller who will transport you into his tale starting at 6 p.m., followed by live music from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Kids can enjoy free hot chocolate and treats, while adults can purchase alcoholic beverages.

On Sunday, March 9, children are welcome at Spa Paradisos (when accompanied by an adult)! It’s the perfect opportunity to unwind in hot baths and saunas and enjoy a well-deserved break after a fun-filled week.

On the weekends before and after springbreak, the Musée régional de Vaudreuil-Soulanges invites families to delve into five exhibition rooms, engaging in interactive activities like trivia, "Search and Find" and coloring badges featuring Cyprienne, the museum's mouse mascot. (Note that, exceptionnaly this year, the museum will be closed from March 3 to 7.)

Bricolo-Café Céramique offers an exciting activity for budding artists to express themselves by painting personalized ceramic pieces. While crafting, indulge in delicious sandwiches and quality coffee for a delightful artistic experience.

At Caféine et Calories, a café-bakery in Coteau-du-Lac, a variety of workshops have been planned especially for Spring Break, from March 4 to 7.
