On board

How many seats are available on the shuttle?

The shuttle can accommodate 13 passengers at a time, in addition to the driver and onboard attendant.

Do I need a ticket to board?

No ticket is required. Since there are no reservations, you simply need to show up at any shuttle stop to board.
Seats are limited and boarding is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I bring my sports equipment (skis, snowshoes, and others) on the shuttle?

Unfortunately, due to limited space, it is not currently possible to bring your sports equipment (skis, snowboard, snowshoes, and others) on board the shuttle.

Please note that several locations along the route offer equipment rentals:

  • Mont Rigaud – Ski station: Rental of downhill ski, snowboard, and snowshoe equipment.
  • Sentiers de L’escapade: Snowshoe rentals for hiking on the trails, as well as kicksleds, snowskates, ice bikes, and snow tubes for activities at Parc Chartier‑De Lotbinière (weather permitting).
  • Auberge des Gallant: Snowshoe loans (based on availability).
Are there seats for passengers with reduced mobility?

Unfortunately, the shuttle bus used for the Navette Mont Rigaud is not equipped to accommodate passengers in wheelchairs.

For other types of reduced mobility that does not required an adapted vehicle, please note that the onboard attendant will be available to help you, should you need assistance.

Please check with each location you plan to visit to ensure it is accessible before heading out.

Are pets allowed on board?

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on the shuttle, with the exception of service dogs.

Route, schedule and stops

Is there a map of the shuttle route?

You can view the shuttle route in the section above titled Shuttle Route.
Please note: this map is a general overview and may be subject to change.

Where are the shuttle stops? How can I recognize them?

Shuttle stops will be marked with a sign featuring the Navette Mont Rigaud logo.

In the Mont Rigaud area, there will be a stop at each participating attraction (see the list above).
If you’re unsure where the stop is located, feel free to ask staff at the attraction.

At the Vaudreuil train station, the shuttle stop is located on Boileau Street, near the main station building (see map below). It will be marked with a sign featuring the Navette Mont Rigaud logo on Saturdays and Sundays from January 17 to March 8, 2026.

How often does the shuttle return to each stop?

The shuttle returns approximately every 70 minutes.
Check the Shuttle Schedule section for detailed timing at each stop.

At each location, you can also check the next shuttle arrival time by looking at the schedule posted on the stop’s sign.

When boarding, we recommend informing the on-board agent of the time you plan to take the shuttle back, so we can reserve your spot or suggest an alternative.

Since there is only one return time to the Vaudreuil train station, passengers who boarded from the station will likely want to reserve their return trip as well. Please note that the final boarding times of the day may be busier.
