L'escapade, Les sentiers du Mont Rigaud

Located in the heart of Mont Rigaud, Sentiers de L'escapade form a 27 km recreational network. Walk along the educational route with its 25 interpretation panels installed along the trails. In summer, the trails are open for hiking and horseback riding, running and observing flora and fauna. In winter, the site is perfect for hiking, snowshoeing, biking with fatbikes and cross-country skiing. Nature interpretive hikes are offered for school or corporate groups. Pets are allowed on the mountain trails. From sunrise to sunset, access the site for free, all year round. Come and enjoy the outdoors in the countryside!

Other places to go for a walk in the forest
There's nothing like the calm of the forest to take a break from the routine and hassle of everyday life. And in Vaudreuil-Soulanges, we are fortunate to have several parks offering walking trails open to the public. Enough to allow you to come back to explore the region, again and again!
On skis or snowshoes, exploring trails in winter is great!
In Vaudreuil-Soulanges, winter takes place outside! And exploring the trails of our many parks on foot, snowshoes or cross-country skis are some of our favorite winter activities. Some of these parks also offer equipment rental services.
A walk along the water
Vaudreuil-Soulanges is bordered by many major bodies of water, from the Ottawa River in the north to Lac Saint-François in the south. Several of our parks allow you to come and admire these spectacular nautical panoramas.
Bring your dog out for a hike
Dogs also love outdoor walks, but it's not always easy to find places where it's allowed to come with your four-legged friend. Here are some trails where you can bring your dog out for a hike. (Please note that dogs must be on leash on most of these trails.)
