In winter, the mountain never sleeps as downhill skiers and snowboarders ply the slopes on 13 trails of fresh powder. One hundred and fifty ski instructors share their skills with students, who can take advantage of chair lifts, a magic carpet and night-skiing. School groups are especially welcome. A chalet with snacks and a shop with great winter gear are available, along with equipment maintenance services. Mont Rigaud is one of the prided sites in the region, taking up over 188 acres with ski trails, 16.5 kilometres of summer mountain biking trails, and a summer day camp. Families can expect to have their needs met on all levels by the quality outdoor activities offered by the warm and welcoming team at Mont Rigaud. From May to November, hiking and fitness enthusiasts, you will be served! In collaboration with Action Sport Physio Vaudreuil, you can try a fitness trail on your next mountain hike. Throughout the 1.6 km trail, you will find no less than 10 posters offering various cardiovascular, muscular and stretching exercises illustrated and explained by Jessica Laniel, kinesiologist at Action Sport Physio Vaudreuil.
