Greenwood Music in the Garden

About
Eleanor Young is an enchanting little lady with a clear, sweet and expressive voice. Accompanied by her acoustic guitar, she sings from her heart, and she sings to tell a story, bringing the lyrics of the songs alive.
Peter Modos is a delight on the guitar and oh so hot on the harmonica. He adds his unique flavour of the blues with themes and melodies at times roguish, and at others lyrical and haunting.
Their playful approach to old favourites will get the mugs a muggin and the toes a tappin!

Centre d'histoire vivante Greenwood is a historic home and garden that offers visitors an unparalleled vision of the region’s past. Built on the banks of Lac des Deux-Montagnes in 1732 and expanded in the following years, Greenwood Cottage has been the home of the Delesderniers, Shepherd, and Nobbs families for five generations, two families of fascinating characters whose letters and effects bring life to the house decades later. You will hear their stories as you tour the beautifully conserved property full of period furniture, costumes and important Canadian artifacts; you can even stay for tea on the back porch! The non-profit organization preserves the house and relies on volunteers to allow public access to the house during the summer. The heritage of these generations is a treasure to be shared for all current generations and all those to come.
