Vaudreuil-Soulanges is bordered by many major bodies of water and certainly has some of the best spots to admire beautiful nautical landscapes, just a few kilometers from Montreal.

Here, however, we don't just contemplate the water that surrounds us. We make the most of it! Rent a kayak or paddle board, and go exploring. And, let's not forget our beaches! There are plenty of options in the region for fans of water activities. Here are our suggestions for the perfect day out on the water.

Pincourt Nautical Centre

Pincourt

Rent a SUP, kayak, canoe or pedal boat at Bellevue Park in Pincourt and go explore Daoust Bay in the Ottawa River.

Opening season: June 13 to September 7, 2026 (Closed August 6 to 9). Schedule varies according to dates.

Parc de la Maison-Valois

Vaudreuil-Dorion

In summer, explore the Baie de Vaudreuil with one of the four types of watercraft retals available: canoe, kayak, paddle board and pedal boat.

Opening season: June 13 to August 30th 2026. (Closed on August 28.) Schedule varies according to dates.

Parc du canal de Soulanges (Kayaks et SUP au canal)

Coteau-du-Lac

Enjoy a beautiful and calm ride on the water while you paddle along the Soulanges canal.

An equipment rental kiosk is located by the Soulanges bike path near the 20 rue Principale at Coteau-du-Lac.

Opening season: Starting June 20 to August 30, 2026. 7 days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also open September 5, 6 and 7, as well as Saturdays and Sundays from September 12 to 27, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

L'Embouchure - pointe festive

Coteau-du-Lac/ Les Coteaux

The western entrance to the Canal de Soulanges transforms into a fun, festive place during the summer, and offers equipement rental so you can explore the Lake Saint-François.

Try out kayaks, paddle boards, electric surfs, efoils, wind wings, sailboards and more!

Opening season: June 27 to August 23, 2026. From Thursday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

While you're at the beach, why not explore the water even more on a paddle board, kayak or pedal boat? You can rent them all on site.

Quai municipal at Les Cèdres

Go for an adventure on the St. Lawrence River! Rent a kayak or paddle board at Les Cèdres' municipal quay, at 1161 chemin du Fleuve, Les Cèdres.

Opening season: June 27 to September 6, 2026, as well as June 24, July 1st and September 7. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Enjoy a beautiful summer day on this festive site with a bar, patio, restaurant, and activities like kayak and SUP rental. Go explore the Ottawa River and Saint-Louis Lake.

Paddle the Ottawa River from Hudson! Rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard at Jack Layton Park and set out on a scenic adventure.

Opening Season: From June 24 to September 7, open Wednesday through Sunday. Also exceptionnally open 7 days a week from July 20 to August 9. From 10 a.m to 6 p.m. (last rental time at 4:30 p.m.).
