From the Lower Laurentians, hop on one of the ferries in Oka or Carillon and cross the Ottawa River to Vaudreuil-Soulanges. Cycle along the river and take in panoramic views of the shoreline and Mont Rigaud. Plan a rest stop at Chartier-De Lotbinière Park in Rigaud, then continue along the flank of the mountain towards downtown Vaudreuil-Dorion. Throughout winter, try snowshoeing, fatbiking, downhill skiing or skating on the 700 metre-long frozen track that circles the park. You can also play hockey at the outdoor rink! Equipment rental is available at the L'escapade chalet. In summer, play all your favourite sports like volleyball, tennis, or come cheer on the baseball teams. There's a skatepark and an outdoor training spot to help you exercise and get in shape. Activities are always running with many local partners, so stay updated! With ample parking, public restrooms, the park has everything you need for a great experience.

A 10-minute trip across the beautiful Lac des Deux-Montagnes brings cars, pedestrians, and cyclists to charming Oka, and from there, the Basses-Laurentides. Coming from Deux-Montagnes, Oka, or Laval, the ferry drops you off only a few minutes from Hudson Village, and within 15 minutes of the shops, restaurants, and attractions in Vaudreuil-Dorion. The ferry runs every fifteen minutes between April and November, saving you time, money, and gas as you explore Montérégie and points beyond. Take advantage of special rates for pedestrians, individual cyclists, and for cycling groups. Check out the ice bridge (weather permitting!) in the winter.
