This summer, hop aboard the free Soulanges Canal Tourist Shuttle!

On Saturday, July 25 and August 15, 2026, discover the Soulanges Canal in a whole new way with easy access to the area's main attractions and points of interest aboard a convenient, free, reservation-free shuttle service.

The shuttle will operate a continuous loop between Vaudreuil Station in Vaudreuil-Dorion and seven attractions located along the canal area, with regular departures that allow you to explore more than one destination during your visit.

Shuttle stops at Vaudreuil Station are coordinated with the train schedule, making it easy to arrive and depart by train.

Hop on the shuttle from Vaudreuil Station!
The exo commuter train connects Vaudreuil Station to Lucien-L’Allier Station in downtown Montréal. The journey takes approximately one hour.
The station is easily accessible by car via boulevard de la Gare. On-site amenities include 593 park-and-ride spaces, 2 carpool-reserved parking spaces, and 6 accessible parking spaces for persons with disabilities.
The station is also bike-friendly, offering 77 bicycle rack spaces as well as a bike station (indoor bicycle storage) with 47 spaces.

Lieu historique national de Coteau-du-Lac

Visit the Lieu historique national de Coteau-du-Lac, home to one of the oldest lock canals in North America as well as the remains of a British fortification. The site brings together over 7,000 years of history along the shores of Lake Saint-François. Explore it by walking the grounds and learning from the interpretive panels available on-site. Enjoy the ever-present natural surroundings and take the opportunity to have a picnic! Consider getting there by bike, as the site is easily accessible via the region’s cycling network. An on-site tourist information station will help you discover other attractions in the area. Now, step into a place rich in history!

Centre de location au canal de Soulanges

During the summer season, a rental container offering watercraft and bicycles is located at the bike path park-and-ride lot in Coteau-du-Lac. It's the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day or enjoy a scenic ride along the canal. Choose from single and tandem kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and bicycles. When renting, you must provide a valid piece of identification, and youth under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. The last rental is available 60 minutes before closing. Be sure to bring sunscreen, a water bottle, and wear appropriate clothing. Ready to discover the canal?

La Belle de Coteau-du-Lac

Specializing in the production of strawberries, La Belle de Coteau-du-Lac offers a variety of delicious summer and fall strawberries. Access to U-pick field or get your crate in their boutique. The site promises a colorful family outing! Take a tractor ride through the fields, run through the corn maze, have the children climb the play modules made from recycled materials and enjoy a lunch in their picnic area. Don’t miss their annual activities! Starting in July, the Festifleurs invites you roam through their flower gardens. It's the perfect spot for family photos! At the end of summer, the sunflowers are ready for the Tournesols en fleurs event. Then in the fall, get ready for the Festiv'Halloween! You can pick your own pumpkin, explore the spooky settings and the haunted maze, and even, for the bravest, explore a haunted domain at night!

Take in the scenery from the Les Cèdres Wharf, or hop aboard the river shuttle for a visit to Salaberry-de-Valleyfield!
Cyclists and pedestrians are welcome aboard this electric river shuttle. The crossing takes approximately 5 minutes and is offered at a minimal cost.

On the Les Cèdres side, ride or stroll along the Soulanges bike path and discover the Soulanges Canal, an important heritage landmark in the region. On the Salaberry-de-Valleyfield side, explore the Îles-de-Saint-Timothée Regional Park and learn about its rich and remarkable history.

The Bourg des Cèdres is a vineyard inspired by history. Located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, the land bordering the oldest Cedar house is favored by a climate conducive to the cultivation of vines. The name of the vineyard, as well as the name of the wines, refer to places or historical facts of the region. Activities and services: boutique, picnic area on the banks of the river, tasting, guided tour, free visit, grape harvest, picnic, small group room rental, terrace and gift shop.
