This shuttle service is not available in winter. Cyclists and pedestrians are welcome aboard this electric river shuttle that connects the Municipalité Les Cèdres to that of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. The crossing lasts approximately 5 minutes and is offered at minimal cost. On one side, in Les Cèdres, follow the Soulanges bike path to discover the Soulanges canal, an important heritage monument of the area. On the other side, in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, explore the Parc régional des Îles-de-Saint-Timothée and its significant history.

The region’s one and only Parks Canada site, the Lieu historique national of Coteau-du-Lac, showcases Canada’s first lock canal and the remains of a War of 1812 fort. All in all, the site brings together over 7,000 years of history on the banks of Lac-Saint-François. Situated on the beautiful Soulanges canal, a treat for cyclists of all skill levels, the heritage park is also close to the charming old-fashioned village of Coteau-du-Lac.
