Regional park driven by history!
Stretching on 23.5 km, the Canal de Soulanges is an old waterway that connects the municipalities of Pointe-des-Cascades, Les Cedres, Coteau-du-Lac and Les Coteaux. Inaugurated in 1899 and closed to navigation in 1959, the Canal de Soulanges is considered a major heritage in Vaudreuil-Soulanges. Take a ride of bicycle on the Soulanges bike path along the canal towards the municipalities of Saint-Zotique and Rivière-Beaudette. Discover the major points such as the Village des Écluses, the Parc des Ancres, the locks, the Petit Pouvoir and l'Embouchure on your way. The parking lots are at : Pointe-des-Cascades (67, ch. du Fleuve), Les Cèdres (Saint-Féréol near of the intersection of route 338), Coteau-du-Lac (20, rue Principale) and Les Coteaux (51, chemin du Fleuve).
