Maléfiction Literary Festival & Halloween Market

Join us for the very first Maléfiction Festival, taking place on Saturday, October 11, from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Opticentre Vaudreuil-Dorion. Everyone, young and old, is invited to dive into a world where reality gives way to the extraordinary. Admission and parking are free.

This unique event combines a speculative fiction book fair with a Halloween market. On the program: passionate authors, local artisans offering mystical services as well as a kids' section and children's activities.

The Maléfiction Festival will bring together passionate authors of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and steampunk, who will share their worlds with the public.

At the same time, a Halloween market will showcase local artisans and original creators offering supernatural-inspired products: decorations, curiosities, themed accessories, and much more!

This festival is both a celebration of literature, a Halloween party, and a gathering for enthusiasts.
