Piste cyclable Soulanges

Stretching 35 km, the Soulanges Bike Path is renowned for its high-quality amenities and the variety of landscapes that surround it. Fully paved and running alongside the Soulanges Canal—a regional heritage gem—this multi-use trail winds through woodlands, villages, and farmland from Pointe-des-Cascades to Rivière-Beaudette. The Soulanges Bike Path is part of Route Verte No. 5, making it easily accessible from the Island of Montréal and from Ontario via the Waterfront Trail. Ideal for families and cycling enthusiasts, the path offers convenient access with seven park-and-ride lots. Along the way, you'll find rest stops equipped with repair stations, washroom facilities, seating areas for relaxation, and clear signage to guide your journey. More experienced cyclists looking for a loop route can return via Chemin du Fleuve, a scenic road that follows the St. Lawrence River. Leashed dogs are welcome. Bike and e-bike rentals are available at the rental kiosk located in Coteau-du-Lac.
